This week the lovely team from Coppernob fashion sent me a piece from Evans exclusive new collection, Scarlett & Joe. The collection is cute and feminine with floral trims and lace detailing seen throughout the range with the style centering around a-line shapes, fit and flare dresses to some super curvy fitted looks.
The dress I’m wearing is the Scarlett and Jo black crochet collar dress. It’s one of those items that is deceptive as I wasn’t sure about it until I tried it on. Once I put it on though, I didn’t want to take it off because it was so comfortable and gave a nice streamlined shape. The sleeves are a nice length with an elasticated end which sits nicely (not the kind of elastic that digs into your arms) . The dress is polyester with a chiffon like layer which added to it’s cute appeal. I paired the dress with some chunky shoe boots from New Look, clutch bag from Primark and some gold stud bracelets from Miss Selfridge. It’s a simple but pretty dress that is easy to dress up or down, ideally a sweet number that could take you from going to the office (with black tights) to a casual ‘going out to dinner’ number.
