This week I attended the A/W preview for Awear. The new season looks are entitled ‘Wildlife’, drawn upon by everything that surrounds the topic of nature. The collection was extremely diverse which I always like to see with great attention to detail on the accessories. If you’re looking to integrate the Autumn Winter into your wardrobe, then I have to say this is a great place to look.
You will see a variety of dress selections with belted dresses from skater styles to body hugging Kim Kardashian dresses. Towards October there will be more occasionwear to be seen including beautiful floor length gowns for around €90/£77. Their shoe choices this year are cute flats that are both pretty and practical.
For those who just want to add hints of the new trends, their accessories are perfect for what you need. You will find my favourite blue trend pieces, statement necklacesand my personal favourite, the Lulu Guinness lookalike bag (but at the fraction of the price of course). There is a nice diversity in staple, practical bags for work or University as well as super chic clutch bags.
Their selection of coats definitely reflect their wildlife theme with faux furs, leopard print, kharki’s to beautiful wool coatigans which really had me looking forward to Christmas for the first time this year. If prints are your passion, then you’re in for a treat with a variety from Jacquard, tapestry materials, florals, leopard, tartans, Aztec to houndstooth prints. There is a real comfortable vibe off their collection. In my head, I am currently visualising myself in October in one of their coatigans with a PU trim, skinny jeans, some super comfy boots with a Starbucks in hand. Bliss! 🙂 The overall sense of this range is one of practicality meets chic for our unpredictable weather. The prices are extremely reasonable, starting with tops from €15 / £12 to coats at €90/ £77. You will see the A/W collection gradually in store from now onwards. Available from Awear Online, Awear stores and House of Fraser
