As you all know at this stage I’m a huge Vichy fan.So when I heard about the release of ‘Idealia Life Serum‘ I couldn’t wait to find out the finer details. I attended the launch just over ten days ago to get the full info from the representatives of Vichy HQ themselves. Throughout the seminar it was explained how the new serum aims turnaround the daily life elements and environmental damage that our skin experiences. This can be created from various lifestyle issues such as sleep deprivation, poor diet, stress, pollution and sun damage. When these factors happen in our lives they can overstress the dermis of the skin making it less able to repair itself which causes wrinkles, uneven skin tone and imperfections. The serum basically combines two key ingredients LR2412 and LHA. Together they aim to repair damage on our skin, while creating a cushioned effect in order to prevent further damage in the future. It refines pores, hydrates dry areas on this skin and deals with main issues woman hate such as dark circles, dull and tired skin as well as marked or uneven skin areas.
I tried out their 8 day challenge whereby you have use it twice a day, morning and evening followed by my own moisturiser of choice. By day four my pores certainly looked more even and my skin tone looked less pastey in the mornings by day 7. I’m using it just once a day now, in the morning before I apply moisturiser and my foundation. I have noticed a difference mainly with how my foundation looks on my skin. Even a makeup artist I worked with a few days ago commented on my complexion (makeup free) so I was pretty delighted.
