*Warning, this post is full of fabulous Christmas pieces*
This week I attended the Christmas preview for Next. It was laid out beautifully with canapés and Christmas inspired drinks to greet their guests. They displayed a selection of some of their favourite items from Womens wear, Menswear, kids and my favourite, their home-ware. Winter and Christmas inspired interior pieces are my weakness, so as you can imagine I was like a big child looking at all the pretty candles, tea pots and Christmas pillows!
As for clothing, it was full of party elements of the festive season. There were plenty of practical pieces and items that will take you straight from the office to the office Christmas party quite glamorously. Some winter classics of faux fur pieces were featured which will always work in your wardrobe around the A/W time. Plenty of colour was to be seen from berry’s, nude pinks and rusts, but of course a Christmas collection can’t be complete without a LBD. This dress, seen below, isn’t something I would normally choose for myself, but I just fell in love. It was girly, overtly pretty and had lots of Sarah Jessica Parker elements to it!
Their coats are extremely chic this season with a wide variety in price range and affordability. Their collarless camel coat was one of my favourites as it’s so smart and flattering. They have some great pieces that embrace practicality but with an edge, like Vicki’s sequinned white shirt (Seen below) which she paired with this tulip skirt.The accessories are always reliable from Next with beautiful black and silver jewelled encrusted pieces to party clutches. I’ve literally just given you a taster of the collection so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks. 🙂
