This Instagram beauty round up brings you my most coveted beauty items, along with my favourite products in by beauty bag at the moment! Most of these items are extremely reasonable in price, ranging from €14/£11 – €58/£49.50.
This Smashbox Full Exposure is number one on my wishlist. I have made a pact with myself not to buy any eyeshadow based products until March as I bought a tade too much makeup around Christmas.Opps! But let me be clear…this is not your typical eye shadow palette girls. It’s practicality is beyond measurable with really generous sized eyeshadows, a variation of pigment and nude shades which mean there are plenty of different looks to achieve. Hence why I am leaving hints left, right and centre to my other half. I’m sure this blog post might help too!haha. Available in Boots or your local Smashbox retailer for €43/£36.
For busy girls that are constantly on the go I cannot recommend these two products enough. Things have so busy since January so I am trying hard not to neglect my skincare routine, but when it has been a long day the last thing you want to do is remove your eye makeup, cleanse and tone your face. In these situations I look to Vichys Purete Thermale 3 in 1 cleansing wash. It does all the hard work for you, and for those with dry skin or sensitive skin your face will feel soft, hydrated and ready for bed! Available in Boots and most Vichy stockist. €14/£11.50. Dr Murads environmental shield is one of the best skin ‘pick me ups’ I currently have in my product bag. I did a review on it some time ago which you can seehere. It’s a product that I have repurchased since then as it makes my skin feel fantastic. It has slight micro-dermabrasion qualities to it giving your skin that hit of Vitamin C it needs. Available online or in selected beauty salons – €58/£49.50.
While was at the hair salon last week in AK For Hair, my hair stylist told me about their new hidden gem. It’s a small beauty area on their lower level which perfect for busy ladies who may not get the chance to be pampered or get their nails done. You can simply go down while you are waiting for your highlights or colour to be ready. Killing two birds with one stone beauty style. I love it!
Treat Collection is a new nail varnish brand that I came across while I was working in Germany. They had some really interesting shades including this one which may look black but it actually has hundreds of teeny tiny golden pigments which gives a high shine and super gloss finish to your nails. You can get it online but if anyone sees or hears of them in a store please let me know!
On one of my shoots recently I was given a super curly hair look which was created by a Babylis Curling Pro Wand and finished with a GHD. Afterwards when I brush through my hair lightly it gave a beautiful curl which lasted through to the next day. I was really impressed especially for the price at €30/£25!
Last week I came across this highly indulging body butter by Kiehls. For as long as I can remember the Kiehls brand has always been in my family home. They have great quality products so I couldn’t wait to try it out. Rumour has it this body butter is used by Victoria Secret models and it comes as no surprise as it leaves your skin feeling like silk. Available in Arnotts Dublin or your local Kiehls stockist.€42.50/£36 As always I love to here your thoughts and feedback. Let me know which one is your favourite or what is currently on your own wishlish! 🙂 Lou. x
