Last week marked the launch of Evans newest and most exciting collection to date. The Cut for Evans is a wonderful initiative which motivates young fashion designers to creatively design a capsule collection. It is something which Evans considers as the “unveiling to the future of plus size design”. The two finalists, Alice Farrow and Rebecca Partington, were chosen from top design Universities in the U.K, Bournemouth and Kingston University, which are know for their creativity and talent in both print and knitwear design.
Alice drew her inspiration for her designs from abstract art and graffiti, while Rebecca found inspiration through balloons and travel. Both designers ensured colour was the key component in their collections as they felt the plus size industry currently hold back from offering a variation in bold colours and print for bigger sizes.
The size ranges from a 14-32Uk or a 12-28 USA. It is available to buy online here or at the Evans flagship store on Oxford Street in London. Lou.x
