Photo credit: Anthony Woods A few weeks ago I attended the launch of the Dawson Spa a place so relaxing they have two full floors of Asian inspired heaven and treatment. *Swoon* Anyway..the start to that day had been pretty chaotic and I knew I had the event to attend to so I had to find a something that I could easily transform. 
This aztec print number from Littlewoods did the trick. I’ve worn it so many times due to it’s comfort and detail. During the day you will probably see me with my oversized black Zara handbag and leggings, but for an evening a simple clutch with a pop of colour will do the trick perfectly. Think oranges, blues, reds, anything bold that contrasts against the monochrome to give it some lift. I drew upon more of a rock chic vibe adding a chunky necklace paired with my biker jacket and some deep purple nails to finish off the look. If this isn’t for you there are plenty of softer options for this dress too such as a long lined white biker coat. This kind of coat would look really chic if you wanted to add lighter colours to your wardrobe. A great example is featured here from Debenhams .
