After spending the past two weeks following every inch and slice of fashion that New York, London Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks had to offer, my wardrobe is now sulking. Whenever I feel like this I know accessories are the one ‘pick me up’ to help me fall in love again with my wardrobe, whether it’s a simple piece of jewellery or a statement piece find. For this post I’ve put together a number of pieces which I’ve fallen in love with from JR Dunn toKurt Geiger and even Canon – yes I know the latter may not be considered a fashion accessory to be exact, but it does enable a blogger to take gorgeous photos of all of the above ( it is a Wishlist after all) 🙂
1: Michael Kors Lexington Rose Gold Watch : Michael Kors watches speak for themselves really. They are the perfect arm candy for day or night, added with bracelets or worn solo. This rose gold number is a beautiful shade and perfect for those who may not like the intensity of brighter gold tones.
Price: €180/$250/£150
2: Pandora Precious Heritage Ring : I realised recently that I rarely wear rings any more. I’m not huge into ‘bling’ as I prefer something subtle like this black crystal ring with embellishment. It’s sophisticated but has an edge to it which I really liked. I happened to spot it a few weeks ago in the Pandora Collection and I’ve been swooning over it ever since then.Price: €120/$165/£99
3: Smashbox Full Exposure Palette: This made my Instagram beauty list recently here. Over the course of fashion week Smashbox makeup artists created some stunning catwalk looks using the Full Exposure palette which reinforced by adoration for it all the more.Price: €43/$59/£36
4:Miu Miu Cat Eye Sunglasses: This brand makes some of the most beautiful and comfortable sunglasses. Since last year, the feline cat shaped frame has been hugely popular. I was hesitant at first but if you find the right style you will be extremely surprised at how flattering and fabulous they look. The ones I have chosen above are actually cheaper to buy online than in bigger retail stores, coming in at €200/$275/£164.
5:Canon EOS 6D: Fashion bloggers around the globe rocked their finest cameras around fashion week capturing some envious street style and catwalk looks. I worked with a photographer recently who spoke to me about the 6D. It’s much lighter and more compact than the 5D’s offering 20.2 megapixels. It has Wifi to send photo to your social media in a flash and you can even use your iPhone to activate the shutter if your take outfit posts for your blog! It will take a bit of saving but it is certainly up there on my wishlist for sure!
Price: €1633/$2444/£1345
6: Nars Sheer Glow Foundation: Coming into better weather and with the countdown to my holidays ( 4 weeks to go!) I’ve added this Nars foundation to my list. I’ve heard numerous reviews and great feedback about it, particularly for those with dry skin so I’m hoping to try this out soon!Price: €40/$55/ £33
7: Chanel Boy Python bag: This is the ultimate pay day splurge. The Boy Python line are new additions to the Chanel family this season which fuses the classic fold over bag with a modern twist. For me this is what I consider a true investment wardrobe piece which would vamp up any item in your wardrobe for years to come.
Price: To be confirmed
8:Kurt Geiger Leopard Print Pumps: These slip on pumps are a perfect accessory to your wardrobe for a casual but cool look. I can think of dozens of items in my wardrobe which these leopard print beauties would work with for Spring and Summer.Price: €115/$158/£95
