Trying to bring yourself into the Summer zone can be difficult, particularly when our weather really does like to tease us with unpredictability. I came across this beautiful boucle blazer which has a perfect medium weight coverage. It’s ideal for travelling through airports or you if need something practical and smart to wear on a cool days. If you have a wedding or an occasion coming up that you need some extra coverage over a dress then this would work perfectly, provided the colour works with your dress of course!;) For those that might be big busted this would be extremely flattering on as it sits open just nicely meaning it won’t add extra bulk to your chest.
For today I styled the look with my slogan t shirt from Primark/Penneys which gives more of an edge and youthful look to a blazer. I found this skirt in H&M about two months ago. It has a light stretch fabric which is so comfortable that I find myself looking to this piece more and more when putting outfits together. It’s certainly a staple piece I would highly recommend to people for your wardrobe as it works with everything and flatters every kind of shape. If you are tall however you may want to opt for a long line look similar to here.
To help balance out the black in this look I added some tribal inspired pieces to bring more Summer trends into it. I featured an article recently on tribal and Summer accessories so I won’t go into too much detail but even adding a subtle hint of clashing print can be nice to finish off a look. The clutch is aztec inspired, something which never dates when it comes to the Summer. My bracelets are from last year with this leopard print bracelet being one of my favoured accessories I own.
