September is always an exciting time for fashion and this year it’s even greater as Cosmopolitan have collaborated with some amazing brands to bring you #FashFest – five events in just five days full to the brim fashion and trends from the 15th – 19th of September. Each day is fashion packed with something different, led by some serious fashion insiders and even appearances from celebrities such as Pixie Lott and Millie Mackintosh! The list is endless and trying to compile it all into one blog post was a task in itself so here is a breakdown of what’s happening each day.
Monday 15th: A live lingerie show packed with the latest A/W 14 lingerie styles, personal fittings from lingerie specialists, canapes, fabulous discounts and even a goody bag worth £50.
Tuesday 16th: A fashion master class from the fashpack Pixie Lott, Victoria Adcock (stylist to Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham) and Ben Cooke – (hairdresser to Nicole Scherzinger! ). This event is hosted by Cosmo’s Editor In Chief Louise Court, together with this fantastic panel you will get a real insight into the celebrity world of fashion.
Wednesday 17th: The ultimate fashion night in – an online shopping extravaganza with fantastic discounts and amazing competitions with top brands all from the comfort of your living room!
Thursday 18th The ULTIMATE live catwalk show, which will showcase the best and most affordable A/W14 collections from top U.K retailers, all styled by the Cosmo fashion team. Each person will receive a goody bag worth over £55, complementary beauty treatments on arrival from hair styling to manicures and more. You will be able to indulge of free Cosmo cocktails, and wait for it… a chance to mingle with some famous faces! Afterwards you will even gain entry to the Cosmo after party with tunes from top Dj Krystal Roxx.
This is the biggest night of all for those who are pretty serious about fashion. You will see some of the U.Ks hottest brands and also get the chance to exclusively shop the looks from the event the next morning via www.cosmofashfest.co.uk. For me, the fact that the show will be styled by Cosmo’s fashion team along with fashion director Shella Vella, who looks after all of Cosmo’s international editorial shoots is a reason in itself to be attending!
