Day 4 was by far the warmest which meant light, clever layers were most certainly in order. As a result this scuba dress was ideal. It’s one of those pieces that has never let me down, its extremely light to wear and it NEVER creases! I bought this piece back in April and although it has a Summer vibe to it with it’s floral abstract detail, somethings teaming an item with Autumnal pieces like I’ve done today will translate a look instantly into a different season altogether.
This sleeveless trenchcoat has been a godsend in recent weeks and I hadn’t had the chance to wear it on previous days at Fashion Week so it was a definite must for day 4. You can wear it with a multitude of items from jeans to shorts, and I must admit this trench coat makes a beautiful combination when paired with heels.
Sometimes you just need something extra to finished off a look and primarily as I was having a significantly bad hair day that no amount of John Frida’s Frizz Ease could possibly ‘miracalize’ or rescue, it was therefore time to bring out the big guns, the Trilby! haha.
Photography by Holly McGlynn. For accessories, I needed a bag that would fit my camera bag, heels and all the essentials I needed for the day so this Primark find came in extremely handy. As there was a lot of print detail going on in my dress, I opted for this gold cuff I bought recently in Debenhams. As my footsies were pretty delicate after a few days of heels, my biker-esque shoe boots were my go-to shoe as they are so comfortable ( and the fact that I physically couldn’t get my feet into anything else!lol).
LFW show details & designer showrooms:
Matthew Williamson

Matthew Williamson’s show was truly stunning as he showcased beautiful feminine silhouettes and embraced a great variation of colours from pinks to reds, blues and neon shades. He indulged in an array of prints with 70’s floral inspiration and multicoloured pieces which I adored. My favourite look overall from his collection had to be this show stopping blue dress with a drop hem train. For hair and makeup, there was an emphasis on purples and navy eyeshadows along with soft pink cheeks. Hair was glam, bouncy and leaving everyone exceptionally envious of the models beautiful locks so I’ll be adding some kind of hair thongs to my list for next year. Think Charlie’s Angels umfp! Designer showrooms Awon Golding
At Fashion Week once you have a press pass you have access to the designer showrooms where you get to see a whole host of upcoming designers and ones to watch. There was a room entirely dedicated to Millinery with every kind of hat design you could think of. Awon Golding’s collection really caught my eye with her unusual pieces, which showed a variation in hat for the likes of Rihanna and Lady Gaga’s taste buds, to then more subdued easy to wear pieces for girls like us. It was really beautiful as you could clearly see an unbelievable amount of time and effort put into each piece. Kerrie Luft
Another upcoming designer who I couldn’t get enough of was shoe designer Kerrie Luft. Kerrie was so lovely to speak to and she gave me a generous amount of her time. She lives in Milan currently and has created a stunning collection which is distinctly feminine but also incorporates stunning, innovative shapes through the use of Rapid Prototyping Titanium (yes that was a mouthful for me also!). It means the shoes are extremely light but durable and enables this intricate design she creates on the heels of her pieces. This is just a teaser above of some of her fabulous pieces. I hope you have all enjoyed my London Fashion Week outfits and show reviews. Next week we’ll resume back to normal Style Me Curvy posts. Thanks for reading guys.
