Ted Baker: Reversible Tunic Dress
Two months ago I had the pleasure of working with a brilliant creative team. Fronting the shoot was Anita Sadowska who I’ve wanted to work with for some time now. She’s incredibly talented and at the age of 22 she has already shot an incredible list of editorials and campaigns. The shoot theme for this editorial was surrounding oriental inspiration which was styled by the wonderful Carmel Daly. The room was packed with outfits from a variation of great brands and designers. There were incredible dresses from the likes of Alexander Mc Queen and Just Cavalli which I hadn’t had the opportunity to wear before prior to this shoot, so as you can imagine the fashion blogger in me was over the moon! 🙂 As this shoot was Asian inspired, below you will see lots of silk like fabrics, various floral prints from the bold to more water coloured pastel shades. There were no real accessories for this shoot as the main concentration was on the detail and emphasis on the clothing which I really loved. Carmel chose so many beautiful pieces so it’s very hard to pick my favourites, but I will say this Ted Baker Dress above and the Ted Baker jumper with leggings which you will see later on were immediately on my wishlist! At the bottom of this post you will find all the behind the scenes details of makeup, beauty and haircare. 🙂

Behind The Scenes:
Makeup
Makeup on the shoot was by the insanely talented Kathryn O’Neill who was a wealth of knowledge both in terms of beauty and makeup products. My skin was prepped by French brand Bioderma‘s Michelle Solution, followed by Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre – which I’ve noticed is becoming a true favourite among my international model friends lately as it gives a great burst of hydration, but unfortunately it is a hard product to come by. For foundation, Kathryn used the new Yves Saint Laurent ‘ Touche Eclat Foundation’ which gave a beautiful dewy glow. The main eye shadows that were used were Tom Ford‘s Eye Colour Quad (Shade Cocoa Mirage) and Too Faced ‘Honey Pot’ eyeshadow. For blusher, she used an incredible one byShiseido called Face Colour Enhancing Trio ( Shade Apple RD1) which I’ve added to my wishlist as it gave instant life into my skin and lasted all day.
Hair
Hair was by one of my favourite hair creatives, Glen Cullen. There were a number of hair changes throughout the shoot. First up Glen started with lots of volume. Usually my hair parts on the right hand side but by parting the hair in the opposite direction it gave a beautiful effect which was pinned to one side and then delicately curled using the Babyliss Pro Curling Iron. The next look was a bob which is actually my hair tucked into the dress ( so dont worry I haven’t cut it although it is tempting!). Following this Glen opted for a neat pony tail where he utilized the hair oil featured above to get a crisp, neat finish. The main products Glen used were a Babyliss Pro Curling Iron , Schwarzkopf’s Silhouette hairspray and Schwarzkopf’s “Got 2 Be” hair oil to finish off the look with a great shine.
