Whether you are going to a Christmas party or simply a festive night out, a red dress is sure to make you stand out from the crowd. This number I’ve chosen today is elegant, figure flattering and channels hints of Dolce and Gabbana chic.
As Christmas is an expensive time of the year I’ve chosen everything in this post with that in mind. The most expensive item you will see in today’s look is €25/£20! 🙂
This dress was practically calling my name in Primark. It has 3/4 sleeve arm coverage, a fitted top half and tailored tulip pleats at the front which I know so many of you will just love. The fabric is made from a scuba like material which gives a good amount of stretch when necessary.
For girls who would have a fuller bust beyond and E Cup, this dress might consume you due to the shape of the bottom half. In order to make a style like this work for you, look for a V-Neckline to give more of a streamlined look. To add some extra layers for those Winter evenings, this beautiful black cropped faux fur jacket gives that extra Christmas feel. It’s something that could be worn with long or short dresses which would look extremely sophisticated.
When it came to accessories I opted for true Dolce and Gabbana style paying attention to more Baroque and royal elements. For shoes, I added beautiful pointed stiletto heels which have slight silver pigments running throughout. The combination of a pointed toe and the lack of any ankle straps will also elongate your legs. This is a great trick to make yourself appear taller and leaner.
