January is always a time where media puts a strong emphasis on diets and detoxes. It instantly creates a heightened negativity towards bodies. As a result I thought this post would be a welcomed reminder of some body positivity. I’ve put together a selection of just some inspiring chica’s in my industry. These women own their curves and embrace them and some of whom are very close friends of mine in the modeling world. Don’t get me wrong I think exercise is important, I love working out to keeping fit and keeping my curves in check. I just think its important to remind yourself that comparing yourself to medias expectations of ‘perfect bodies’ is unrealistic. But finding ways to be confident in your own skin is the best thing you will ever do. Philomena Kwao: size 16
