For my second look for London Fashion Week I wanted to target two things, warmth and femininity. It was extremely cold on the Sunday so a thick polo neck was beyond mandatory! I’ve had my eye on this china blue skirtfor about 6 weeks and I honestly couldn’t stop admiring it’s beauty when I got my hands on it. The tulle in the underskirt gives it that big, floaty, Disney princess vibe. I went up a size as I knew I wanted to have the option to wear it with some layered pieces and the 16 felt on the tight side also. Here I’m wearing an 18, its extremely comfortable and a total dream to wear. As it’s quite a long lined skirt, this wouldn’t be ideal for petites but I’ve added some similar styles in the widget at the bottom of this page that would be ideal for you.
For added warmth I layered a cotton top underneath my polo neck then I pinned a faux fur scarf to add some chic elements to the top half as the skirt is quite glamorous. In terms of accessories you can put numerous clutch bags with this look- go as basic as you wish like a black satin box clutch. I opted for something that gave a good contrast with a monochrome clutch from Parfois which I liked as it can also be used as a cross over bag as there’s an long strap inside.
In terms of shoes, again I opted for these kitten heels from Next like on my first day at LFW. They were so practical and work perfectly for this look. I think anything too complicated would take away from this look.
