The Utility Jumpsuit

Earlier this month I posted a photo on Facebook of the Mollie King for Oasis collection and since then I’ve been eager to check it out. The piece that caught my attention the most was this utility inspired jumpsuit.  Utility styles and khaki shades are a big trend for Spring Summer 2015, so a jumpsuit is a great way to nail the two trends in one. Below is a full review of it’s fit and style.

For girls who would have a smaller frame than me (here I’m wearing a 16), I definitely think this would create curves in all the right places for you. For girls around my size, I found it had extra fabric in the correct areas meaning it was tummy flattering and with the V’ neckline, if you’re fuller busted, it sat extremely well. If you would be a DD cup size and upwards however I would say you would need to go up one size, and as it has a drawstring around the middle it won’t compromise your shape or add bulk.

For my tall friends, this jumpsuit is made quite generously in the leg length. I would be around 5’9 in height and found myself rolling up the ends but it still looked really good, particularly when paired with heels. While the size does stop at a 16, I have added another style at the bottom of this post for bigger size options from Asos Curve.

Overall I loved how a utility style still exerted feminine qualities to it and it’s something that can be styled safari-eque in the Summer months and restyled with dark tones in the Winter.
