Last month I had the pleasure of shooting a fashion editorial with Irish magazine Xpose featuring Next clothing. On set I noticed lots of great Spring options that would easily add umpf into your wardrobe. A number of items below will give that edge to your workwear style, or give you simple ideas for day to night looks.

This first look is one of my key favourites in terms of practicality. It may look like a dress but it’s actually two separates – a skirt and a top. Co-ords like this are ideal as they can be doubled up as seen above or each worn separately. A great option for a trip away where you’ll end up with three different looks easily without having to bring too much luggage.

For Spring Summer, its all about swapping the reliable LBD’s for a crisp white dress. This fit and flared style was a dream to wear. Pair it with gladiator sandals for some day time chic or add a pop of colour with burnt orange and corals for an evening approach.
Mono print shirt dress €55 / £40 shoes€38/ £28 bag €29 / £22
This mono printed shirt dress is a brilliant find for smart day to night looks, which will take you from the office to drinks with the girls quite easily. Swap the work bag for a cute clutch or a statement blue bag as seen here and you are good to go!
Red floral print dress €55 /£40
This is a true Summer piece, I can ideally see this with gorgeous sandals going from the pool bar to a casual dinner. Definitely one of my favourites from the shoot for both colour and comfort!
Coat €103/ £75 Necklace €17 /£13
Pastels are huge this season and I find soft tones such as lilacs are a great option for a variety of skin tones. Living in an unpredictable climate it’s great to have more colourful coat options and as this shade is set to be a favourite for the Autumn and Winter months overall it’s a good investment buy.
