City life and summer fashion is something which can be a massive pain to get right when you’re dealing with humidity and mixed temperatures, particularly when you have places to be, and things to do, all while trying to look presentable! With this in mind, today’s look is a casual yet on trend vibe; easy to dress up for a evening on holiday, or simply a laid back comfortable feel.
The main piece is of course this playsuit or ‘romper’ if you’re reading this from the States. It definitely has a boho style to it but I loved how this has a three quarter length sleeves, a delicately nipped in waist band and a colour splash of reds and navy. I find looking towards styles that are loose around the leg area makes things much cooler for walking around town. Here I’m wearing a size 16 from Primark which is available in sizes 8-20, but I’ve added a full list from various brands at the bottom of this page from around the world with similar styles, size ranges and cuts.
For accessories I pulled out the navy tones with this light navy Fedora hat which I adore. I added a crossbody saddle bagwhich is extremely useful for city life, and comfortable suede flats from Missguided that I bought at the start of the summer (similar style here). For jewellery I kept it simple with a long line tassel necklace and a chunky gold cuff.
