One thing I love about September is the new season pieces that flood into stores, and as it’s my Birthday month too I think I’ll be discreetly leaving hints around the place!:) Working in the fashion industry for the past six years, one of best pieces of advice I was given is to pick up your winter boots and an “IT” jacket or coat in September while the selection is fresh. With this in mind I came across these over the knee bootsrecently in Deichmann that are amazing value for £29.99 . I bought a pair of high heeled versions last year and my biggest regret was not buying a flat version too as they are so versatile! Next is this stunning statement jacket. I wore a similar version in a tan suedefor last month’s Cosmopolitan ‘Catwalk to Curvy’ guest post and I had tonnes of emails over it. This black number has so many designer elements to it while being fully lined and of course faux fur! For more of a party look this is a perfect LBD with a twistwith thanks to it’s beautiful mesh detail which is met with a 60’s high neckline. For accessories a statement bag is always welcomed. I spotted this suede beauty last week when I was at the Karen Millen evening which channels lots of 70’s vibes. Rust shades are a huge part of the trend led colour palette this season and believe it or not you can team this with a multitude of colours. To add some ultra chic style to any look, these Dior sunglasses are incredibly beautiful. The cateye shape is still hugely popular for the year ahead and there is something so sophisticated about this style. Though they are quite pricey I found these snakeskin court shoes to ease the pain at just £14.99 which I find is a great way to wear a print discretely. Lou . xx
