This week was certainly jam packed, and one of the days in particular included a preview of some of Karen Millen’s Autumn Winter looks chosen by their current style ambassador, presenter Louise Roe who flew in from L.A especially for the event in Brown Thomas. I’ve followed Louise on social media for a number of years now and I can tell you she is just as sweet, humble and extremely lovely in person. Below are some of her looks and what I wore to the event.

There were a number of different looks on the evening. I have my eye on this plaited roll neck jumper in particular as it’s just so different! There were also a number of LBD styles which I loved ( you can never have enough), but you can find all of the looks here on the Karen Millen site.

What I wore:
This season I seem to be quite drawn to burgundy shades and if you saw my last blog post you’ll have read all about my adoration for suedette. I opted for a 70’s inspired skirt from New Look and a crepe shirt from H&M which was quite generous in size ( usually I take a 16 in H&M but I picked up a 12). It was such a comfortable combination which you can dress up or down with ease. To finish off the look I added these beautiful suedette boots from Primark which are a dream to wear!
