Burgundy is my new black lately. Paired with denims to darker items it immediately creates a great Autumn/Winter look. To do a burgundy look with ease, pick a statement piece and work your look around it. I was sent this gorgeous sleeveless coat from New Look recently which I love and essentially speaks for itself.
Over the summer I really got on the sleeveless blazer bandwagon and seeing it in coat form is more practical than you would believe. There are so many ways you can wear it, styled with long sleeved items, layered over a biker jacket or as I have featured it today, teamed with this high cowl neck top. The material is a wool blend making it quite warm too. I’ve paired it with a plaid skirt leaving the look open to more of a nighttime feel or add a pair of opaque tights and a workwear bag for more of an office style.
