Christmas is a stressful enough time of year without adding fashion dilemmas to the list. I find a big element of being organised is having key pieces ready that instantly create an impressive look saving you so much time and energy. Today I have three key accessories which put together work really well using black and gold combinations. I’ve teamed it with a simple red dress but overall using any contrasting colour like bold blue, cream or burgundy will achieve the same effect. This particular dress is from River Island. It’s a style which is quite flattering even for bigger busts as it’s a good polyester that glides over the bust and body. As its more of a shift dress style absolutely any body type can wear this dress. It also has a delicate tie belt detail on the back which you can use to define your waistline as much as you please.
The bagis something I’m really quite excited about. I’ve been on the lookout for a practical tote bag for a about six months now. I wanted something with a twist, that would work for day or night, for travel and for bringing more than enough with me at all times! So meet my Diane Von Furstenberg tote bag, you’ll be seeing a lot of her around here over the next while. She’s got a quilted leather finish which gives a girly yet biker vibe. My absolute favourite combination!
For boots, these beauties have lots of designer elements to it from the fit to the finer gold ankle detail. Styles like this will go with a huge selection in your wardrobe and look great paired with black or nude tights too! I prefer to wear shoes and boots with a slight platform at the front because I find it more comfortable. If you look closely there’s a hidden platform in these boots making them so easy to wear.
