Maven 46 Editorial - Style Me Curvy

I’ve worked as a curvy and plus size model for six years now. It’s a job which entails many labels and with that comes many preconceived ideas. It wouldn’t be often to see a size 14-16 model shoot an editorial featuring designer brands and labels. That’s why this shoot with Maven 46 was so enjoyable for me, I wore everything from Isabel Marant boots, to Prada and Alice & Olivia. The ultimate Sex In the City style shoot!

I’ve worked with the brains behind Maven 46 some time ago. Agata Stoinska, an incredibly talented photographer and stylist Tanya Grimson a fashion guru, who together work as a brilliant creative duo. It came as no surprise to me when they decided to set up their own online magazine which is instantly shoppable. They have had a number of Maven 46 editorials out to date and I was more than thrilled to be asked to work with them. Primarily because there were no boundaries, it was about fashion in all it’s beauty, not about size or differentiation, truly about style, it’s wearability and making all women look and feel good.
