Tis the season to sparkle as they say and today’s dress is a perfect example of that! This look is from Evans with sizes ranging from 14 to 26. Evans have a really strong party collection this year for plus sizes, particularly when it comes to dresses which is wonderful to see. I chose this teal number for today’s Style Me Curvy Christmas outfit as a true get up and go look. The stress is mounting for a lot of people over the past few weeks so I wanted something that will have you looking and feeling fabulous in under ten minutes!
Shades of blue like this will work with a huge range of skin tones and hair colours. It differs from traditional party colours of reds and berry shades which is nice for a change. At the bottom of the dress you’ll be met with beautiful sparkle detail from silver to deep metallic shades meaning very little accessorising is needed.
The dress is double lined and is met with an elasticated waistband and draped fabric around the bust to give that 1920’s flapper effect. As your waistline is highlighted and given the extra fabric on top it will really flatter fuller busted curvy ladies as the material won’t pull or create lines across the chest area. It’s a style that would work throughout the Christmas and for New Year’s Eve particularly as it’s every inch of comfort. It folds really easily and neatly which is ideal for those of you who are traveling this month too! Just add a bracelet and simple heels and that’s all you really need, the dress does all the talking for you!
