As the lights dimmed at Le Meridian hotel for the Paul Costelloe show, voices quickly silenced in anticipation for what Paul had up his sleeve for his Autumn Winter collection. This silence however quickly broke as sounds of camera flashes, iphones, rushed in a frenzy for those eager to upload the first set of photos of these stunning pieces online. This was Costelloe as we have never seen him before, leaving fashionistas, “Frowers”, and the fashion elite in awe. Inspired by a modern female warrior, he has brought together power dressing with a dramatic edge while conveying nothing less than his well known impeccable tailoring. Below you will see some of my favourite looks from the show which I’m currently infatuated with. There is everything from military coats and fierce textures to more feminine floaty numbers along with vibrant red checks.
