The last few weeks have flown by, I’ve lost track of the amount of cities I’ve visited but it’s all been very exciting and soon I’ll be able to fill you in on some of the Style Me Curvy projects ahead. This week’s post is by request by many of you, an outfit post that incorporates travel and comfort, that can easily be worn either day or night whether you’re heading abroad or simply looking for something to look to at the weekend.
Boho vibes are certainly the catwalk favourite for S/S16. Today’s kimono jacket takes on more of a tailored sleeve approach mixing in with Marc Jacobs and Rodarte vibes. So if you are a designer inspired fashionista then this is certainly a statement piece for your wardrobe. For big bust, small busts, and everything in between, you will feel really comfortable with this style as it’s really easy to wear. If you are not the kind of person that embraces print, then this is another way to do so as it leans more towards the monochrome side of style brought together with fringing and delicate mirrored detail. Pair this with some bold blue jeans and a simple top or even tailored shorts if you are in a warmer climate, either options and you have a perfect summer style ensemble.
For during the day add either converse or lace up sandals, and for the evening look towards pairing this look with a block heel, a wedge or a stiletto.
