This week I wanted to feature more reader request blog posts. Spring is an incredibly popular time for family events to work events, anything from weddings to a day at the races, christenings to graduations. For today’s post I picked this multi layered dress from Coast which is essentially a fit and flare style with an added 50’s twist. It’s something that would work on a number of shapes and sizes and I loved the fact that it had this beautifully draped tulip high low detail – striking a balance of knee length at the front and draped at the back. These kind of styles work perfectly for all kinds of big events, they’re extremely comfortable if it’s set to be a long day ahead of you and above all very flattering and curve friendly on. Today I’m wearing a size 18 which is true to size for me in Coast dresses. The belt detail defines the waistline but it’s also removable if you wanted to add your on belt option be it a smaller style or something that had more sparkle.
If you scroll down in this post I’ve added three full galleries of other high to low dress styles in various colours and patterns to cover all fashion taste buds. There are also maxi dress options included multiway styles from Asos. These are new arrivals to the brand for all sized in various colours and what I loved about them is how they differ from previous styles I’ve seen over the years. The beauty of multiway is that they work as a great investment piece and as they can be styled over 12 different ways it will never go to waste. For those who what something a bit different again I’ve added skirt options too; a style I love as a wedding guest because you can let the skirt do all the talking and pair it with even the most basic of tops and you’re done!
