LBD’s for me are never boring. I know some people feel it’s a “safe” fashion choice but I prefer to think of it as reliable. We all have those days and weeks where we might have to be somewhere or at something and life can easily get in the way or plans don’t always go the way we want them to. This is why I find it a little be reassuring to have those ” I’ve got your back” outfits. The kinds that even on your most bloated day or where your iron might have suddenly decided to give up the ghost right before you have to leave the house you will still look somewhat presentable. I’ve had lots of incidents over the past few weeks in particular where I have a ten minute window to get ready, throw myself together and get out the door, so in general my LBD’s are unashamedly my go-tos.
Today’s outfit was a perfect example of that. I work as a plus size or curve model alongside this blog and on this particular day I had to be at a casting for 10am at the other side of Milan then to shows for the day. I picked up this LBD recently which had subtle glam details of diamante buttons – something that would be a very easy to add to an old LBD to give it an update. It has a soft drop waist hem that sat above the knee making it easy to pair with tights ( or nude tights as I’m wearing today) or totally bare legged. My pink coat you would have seen in a recent post here, made another appearance as it’s been a great wardrobe staple for everything lately so it was a fashion week must too!. I’ve added a full list below including Tall girl finds and more casual LBD finds.

For accessories, I embraced my love for the kitten heel yet again but this time with a mesh and polka dot find from Primark for €8! The bag fused some Kate Spade vibes with an Orla Kiely twist in this basket weave and checkered print side detail.
