I know there are so many people who tend to stick to block colours and darker shades around this time of the year so adding something to you wardrobe thats either a) a bold print like below or b) a bright bold shade like hot reds, khaki greens or cobalt blues will add instant oomph to even the most basic pieces in your wardrobe.
